luur is a contemporary lifestyle brand based in Manly, Australia, created at the intersection of thoughtful design, material innovation, and culture.

We believe clothing should be considered from every angle. Through collaborations with artists, universities, researchers, and scientists, we explore ideas that inform our collections and shape the stories behind them.

Our design process is grounded in material exploration. We work with carefully selected fabrics chosen for their character, performance, and longevity, favouring materials that age well and remain relevant beyond a season. Alongside this, we experiment with garment dyes, washes, and finishing techniques that add depth and individuality to selected pieces. In some cases, these processes create subtle variations that make each garment unique.

The Creative Director and Co-Founder was born in Guatemala and comes from a background in functional design. This perspective shapes an approach where colour, fabric, trims, embroidery, construction, and finish are considered as essential parts of the design process, with each element contributing to the purpose and character of a garment.

The brand's aesthetic is influenced by its home in Manly. The coastal environment and relaxed rhythm of the area inform a design language that balances refinement with ease, creating clothing that feels considered, versatile, and effortless.
