Valentina Bones X-Ray T-shirt

Bones against robots.

luur is built on the attraction of opposites. When developing this artwork, we asked ourselves what could stand furthest from robots and AI. The answer was simple: our bones.

The artwork was created using 50 donated X-rays. One was carefully cut by hand into the shapes of flowers by Eliza, with wires arranged as stems. The composition was then scanned beneath an X-ray of a spine and ribs, bringing flowers, wire and the human body together in a single image.

The X-ray artwork is printed at the left chest and overlaid with a transparent pocket, allowing the image to remain visible beneath it and creating a physical layer over the composition.

Cut from soft white cotton in a relaxed silhouette, the T-shirt is finished with stitching around the neckline, adding a subtle hand-crafted detail.

A study of what makes us unmistakably human, created in contrast to the machines surrounding us.

Designed with a unisex fit. 

Model is 1.90 m / 6'3" and wears size M.
