Cut in a relaxed fit, the Bot Abengan ID T-Shirt is garment dyed, giving the cotton a rich colour and subtly individual finish.
On the front, a printed identification card introduces Bot Abengan, with details hand-stitched in contrasting red thread. The visible stitching brings a human gesture to the identification of a machine, making each piece slightly individual.
On the back, Bot Abengan’s purchase receipt appears to hang from the hem, held in place by a printed strip of sticky tape. A familiar proof of purchase becomes part of the garment, questioning the strange space between identity, ownership and the machines we increasingly bring into our lives.
