Through Wire and Air Bodysuit

A continuation of the Valentina Bones artwork, this bodysuit isolates the X-ray flowers from the original composition, turning them into a print that moves across the body.

The flowers were originally created by hand from donated X-rays, carefully cut into floral forms with wires arranged as stems. Here, they appear across the front and back of the bodysuit alongside the words “Through Wire and Air.”

Made from soft lyocell with a close, body-skimming fit, the fabric creates a smooth base for the transparency and fine detail of the X-ray imagery.

Part of luur’s exploration of opposites, the piece places something unmistakably human, our bones, within a collection shaped by robots and machines.

Designed specifically for women, this style follows standard women’s sizing and fits true to size.
